The trees in the forests, the water in the lakes and rivers, the fishes in the seas and oceans and the fresh air give life to all the living creatures on earth. These things are useful and helpful to man’s everyday living.
Everything that God had made is useful to man. From the roots of the trees up to its fruits has its own role in man’s life to help and improve his livelihood.
All of the food we eat comes from the plants, trees and animals around us. Even the clothes we wear and the things we used to make a shelter are all from the nature.
Due to the increasing number of population, the demand in food also increases. The demand for the general needs of man increases but the supply seemed to decrease. Why not?
In every tree that was cut down, how many people got its advantage? How about the number of people who suffered from its consequence?
The natural resources are not proportion for the total number of people living in the world. That is why many are suffering from poverty. And many suffer from different illnesses. All people could experience the disastrous revenge of nature.
The rapid loss of trees in the forests, the increasing number of garbage found in different bodies of water and the contaminating activities of man that pollutes the air are alarming. The resources must be reversed and some must be reserved for the next generations.
There are so many noticeable implications of the increasing growth of population especially to the environment. But, many seemed to be blind about it.
We must be aware and concern of our environment. It is our home. God made us to take care of his masterpiece, not to destroy it with our unlawful acts and immoral deeds. Why not start it to yourself? Think about it. We must sincerely know and bear in our hearts that everything in this world comes from Him. We are his steward, tasked to take care of His ultimate masterpiece.
